The Embodiment Tour
The Embodiment Tour is a multi-media memoir of the years following 2020. It delves into topics of community organizing, mental and physical health, queerness, home and belonging, work/labor, death, and grief. The Embodiment Tour is not only a critique of capitalism, white supremacy and other hegemonic violent structures, it is a window into how I've found hope, challenged ideologies I have been programmed to believe in, and taken action.
The Embodiment Tour is being written, edited, and published with and in community. I have hosted writing and art nights, community feedback nights, and cafes to cowork with other creatives. Additionally, I ran a community based research project, the Care Economy Series, to better understand work, labor, and survival. The series is a collection of workshops and round tables to support us from an economy centering exploitation and profit to one of community and care.
